Route 66 was never only a highway. It was a promise that movement could create opportunity—and that a family, a diner or a small town could build a future beside the road.
The Route 66 Revival Project began with a simple question: what if the road's 100th anniversary became more than a look backward?
What if it became a reason to stand with the people who kept its doors open—and help write what happens next?

THE STOP.
Visitors still come—sometimes in waves, sometimes one car at a time. For the families and small-business owners who stayed, every stop matters.
They continue to open their doors, care for their towns, and hold on to what generations built. Every meal shared, room booked, and local story heard helps keep another light on.
These communities are still here. We want more people to see them, support them, and believe in what they can become again.

THE INTERSTATE MOVED ON.
Traffic shifted. Storefronts emptied. Neon went dark. Towns built around the rhythm of the road were asked to survive without it.
THE ROAD BECAME AN ICON.
Neon motels, roadside diners, service stations and family-run attractions turned the journey itself into the destination.
THE ROAD OPENED AMERICA.
Across 2,448 miles and eight states, Route 66 carried families westward, connected communities and sparked a new generation of roadside enterprise.
The story moves from promise, to glory, to loss—and finally to the people who refused to let the road disappear.
